A few pictures I took

Hey everyone, my name is Chris majoring in Multimedia here at California State University, East Bay. I thought of doing my first blog post by sharing a few close-up flower pictures I took at the campus and also at a church in Fremont called "Our Lady of Guadalupe." I really enjoy taking pictures of anything and a favorite example that I like are shooting close-up shots of flowers wherever I am at. I am always amazed at how beautiful a flower can look up close from different angles including the lighting as well.

The photo of this pansy was taken at CSU East Bay not far from the Music Building.

I took this picture right outside "Our Lady of Guadalupe" and I believe the flower is a Camellia but I might be wrong though.

Do any of you know the actual name of this flower? I took this picture on campus and I am very curious to know what kind of flower this is.

As I was walking around the outside of the church, I could not help but
noticed that flower on the ground and thought that I could shoot an
image of it with a nice shallow depth of field.
